The explanation of why Jesus has been Baptized by John the Baptist.

Matthew chapter 3:

13 Then Jesus arrived from Galilee to the Jordan, to John, to be baptized by him. 14 But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me? 15 But answering, Jesus said to him, Allow it now, for it is becoming to us this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him.

People come to John the Baptist to be baptized, confessing sins.

Jesus considered it like a sin to repent, when not all righteousness is fulfilled. He says that His righteousness didn’t yet reach perfectness and for Him it is like a sin that needs to be confessed.

Follow the example of Jesus and consider it as a sin when all good, that you can do, is not yet done.

Another explanation is that Jesus confessed the sin of people that He took onto himself.
