== Based on Victor Porton's sermon == <youtube>0WoUGJKUQEA</youtube> Sermon on Matthew 6:24: “No man can serve two lords: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” What does it mean to serve to mammon? It means that mammon determines what you do. On the heaven, there are two bursas: Mammon and Christ. The finances of the Earth is a part of Mammon. To learn more about Christ, see my podcast “Philosophy of Jesus Christ”. Do I speak my own opinion or is it confirmed by the scripture? (1st Peter 1:19) “but by precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted-of Christ”. What does the word “precious” mean? It means what is traded on a bursa. You therefore need to choose how you evaluate values. If you evaluate people or organizations based on their amount on a bank account, you chose mammon as your lord. Consider a mathematician as an example: a mathematician may be poor, but determine the further path of all the world economy. You must not judge people by the amount in the bank. Otherwise you serve to Mammon. Moreover, your legal opinion about how much a given person has should be different than the amount on his bank account. You should agree to take a cheque backed by God’s reward rather than money. You should work for changing the amounts of money of bank accounts to be more near to the amounts of God’s rewards. For example, I am a mathematician who discovered ordered semigroup actions. You should use your money to make my account a little bit nearer to the just reward that could be trillions dollars of reward. I mean that you need to donate, otherwise you will be judged as a servant of Mammon.
